Mexico is known throughout the world for its amazing variety of cactus. They are an infinite source of inspiration for Sophie Simone Designs. Our Cactus Collection showcases some our favorite and most inspiring species of cactus. Each design has its own story and meaning.

Fleur de Cactus
The Fleur de Cactus line is inspired by the desert and its mysteries. I vividly remember traveling through the vast deserts of my adored Mexico, gazing through rhe window at the incredible variety of cactus that somehow grow and flourish in such arid lands... The flowers that bloom from these resiliant plants always amazed me. At times, when my heart was aching, I found shelter and hope in them. If these beautiful flowers can bloom in such barren environments, my heart would certainly bloom and dance again.

Areole Collection 
This unique design is part of Sophie Simone Designs latest cactus inspired line. The Areole Cactus has a beautiful wavy line that is feminine and sensual.

Pitaya Collection
This stunning cactus can be found in its characteristic green color and also in vibrant red. It gives the delicious and magnificent Dragon fruit when in season.

Every cactus has its thorn! This design may look like a string of shark teeth, yet it is also a proud member of the Cactus family.

Nature Vivante
A collection inspired by the beauty of the nature of Baja California, Mexico.
Life after death, the beauty that remains and keeps on living in the material world, still beautiful and alive.
In a place so arid where life seems almost unimaginable, I came across different types of cacti and the remains of a Cholla cactus. The shape of its skeleton looked like a hollow wooden serpent with oval shaped holes. Its organic shape was perfectly preserved.
Life and death, the eternal and mysterious dance of the universe, immortalized in our new collection NATURE VIVANTE.
