HUMMINGBIRD

The hummingbird or HUITZILIN in Nahuatl, symbolizes the enjoyment of life and lightness of being.

It has been considered a sacred bird since ancient Mexico. It represented the god Huitzilopochitl who wore it on his headpiece, always accompanied by a flower.
